Bane Is The Last Man Standing In New THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Poster
With a lengthy promo for Christopher Nolan's third and final outing with Batman attached to some IMAX screenings of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol starting on Friday it comes as no surprise that the publicity campaign for The Dark Knight Rises is kicking into gear now with a new poster. It also comes as no surprise that it's focusing on the primary villain of the piece, Bane.
I'm still not sure, though, if Bane is a good idea. While I have faith both in Nolan and actor Tom Hardy the on set shots that have leaked look silly, frankly, and comments from early screenings of the promo have suggested that Bane's mask not only blocks Hardy's face but also obscures some of his dialogue. That's a big problem, if true.
Time will tell, I suppose, but in the meantime there's the new poster above to look at.
