News #1: Tickets for Sydney Go On Sale This Thursday!
This year marks the 15th anniversary for Australia's Japanese Film Festival. To celebrate this, Festival Director Konomi Masafumi and his team have put together a massive program, featuring a total of 30 films, all of which will be Australian premieres. Many ScreenAnarchy favourites, such as MILOCRORZE: A LOVE STORY, ARRIETTY, GANTZ, GANTZ: PERFECT ANSWER, A BOY AND HIS SAMURAI, VILLAIN and NINJA KIDS!!!, are in the program. News #2: Yutaka Takenouchi (pictured) Will Be Coming To Sydney!
Popular actor and superstar Yutaka Takenouchi will be coming to Sydney to introduce his 2 films: OBA, THE LAST SAMURAI and A HONEYMOON IN HELL: MR. & MRS. OKI'S FABULOUS TRIP. Takenouchi is a former model and an actor well known in Japan and other Asian countries, having starred in numerous television series (such as Long Vacation and Beach Boys) and films. Combining stunning good looks and superb acting skills, Takenouchi has already won the hearts of many, many fans across Asia. Now it looks like it's Sydney's turn to fall in love with this charming actor!
