Full marks to writer-director Derek Franson. He knew he had something solid with Comforting Skin and he took the time to get it right. We first heard rumblings about the project in early 2010 but Franson has been taking his time to get the post production effects just right. Why?

A lonely young woman's desperate need for emotional and physical companionship draws her into a surreal and ultimately destructive relationship with a shifting and whispering tattoo she has willed to life on her skin.
Yes, the villain is a sentient tattoo and Franson knew it had to look just right or the whole thing would fall apart. It does. The first trailer has just arrived and you can check it below.
