TINKER, TAILOR, SOLDIER, SPY Poster

A few weeks ago the online film world began salivating when the first trailer was released for Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy. The film, based on John Le Carré's best selling spy novel and directed by Tomas Alfredson (Let the Right One In), looks like an exciting mix of The Lives of Others and Munich but with even more of a stacked cast.

While we wait for more footage Empire has debuted the one-sheet poster for the film and it's appropriately striking and cryptic, featuring Gary Oldman's face made up of lines of code. Very neat indeed.

Take a look at the poster below!

Who's going to be the first one out there to decode the poster? I already noticed words such as "Mole," "Smiley," (the name of Oldman's character) and "Witch Craft."

The man he knew as "Control" is dead, and the young Turks who forced him out now run the Circus. But George Smiley isn't quite ready for retirement-especially when a pretty, would-be defector surfaces with a shocking accusation: a Soviet mole has penetrated the highest level of British Intelligence. Relying only on his wits and a small, loyal cadre, Smiley traces the breach back to Karla-his Moscow Centre nemesis-and sets a trap to catch the traitor.

As you can already see from the poster, Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy sports an amazing cast including Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, John Hurt, Toby Jones, Mark Strong, Benedict Cumberbatch and Ciarán Hinds. It's scheduled to be released in the UK on September 16th and later in the U.S. on November 18th, 2011.
