Ben Wheatley's Kill List, soon to premiere at the SXSW Film Festival, has thus far been pitched as the story of a pair of hitmen with very little else being shared. But clearly there is something else going on here because, let's be honest, how often do hitmen roam around wearing straw masks while waving torches?

What exactly has Wheatley cooked up for his sophomore film? Where is he going after the hugely acclaimed Down Terrace? Nobody wants to say yet, the plan is clearly to keep the film shrouded in as much secrecy as possible, but this new image - exclusive to ScreenAnarchy - brings flashes of Robin Hardy's The Wicker Man to mind.
