The producers of Dead Snow and Tomme Tonner are at it again ... but before getting into the meet of the matter, a bit of context.

Throughout the 1970s and 1980s Norwegian distributors were, shall we say, less than creative when it came to titling the dubbed versions of American films brought over to Norwegian screens. Through this period a surprisingly common practice was to simply give the film a title that went Help (Premise Of Film) and leave it at that. So Airplane became Help, We're Flying (Hjelp, vi flyr), National Lampoon's Vacation became Help, We Must Go On Holiday (Hjelp, vi må på ferie!), and This Is Spinal Tap became - you guessed it - Help, We're In The Music Biz (Hjelp, vi er i popbransjen).

And now, feeling a fondness for those days, the lads at Euforia Films are producing a pair of new Hjelp films based on nothing so much as their fondness for those days and the sorts of films that used to have the Hjelp moniker slapped upon them. First out of the gate is Kenneth Olaf Hjellum's Hjelp, vi er russ (Help, We Are Graduating), which proves that a universal constant is high school kids who would like to get laid.

Markus and Robert have finally reached their goal. 12 years of schooling are nearly over, and everything they've learned isto be washed away in an unprecedented celebration. Their only problem is that they reside in Ødvåg, Norway's tiniest and most windswept dump, and that the money they saved up for the celebration is nowhere to be found. So the challenge is to get together the greatest graduation celebration ever, without cash. And of course to get laid. Markus' target is Caroline. The most attractive broad at school.

Together with Truls, Kjell Arne and Vigdis - or Owlis as Kjell Bjarne calls her, they dig out a wreck of a minibus from an abandoned barn. And with a minor financial contribution from the Chinese exchange student Yao Ming, it looks like they might even get it on the road. The road to Nirvana: The graduation gathering in Stavanger!
The first teaser for this one has just arrived online and while it does not yet exist in subtitled form you don't really need the subs to catch the spirit of the thing. Check it out below.
