30 DAYS OF NIGHT Artist Ben Templesmith Cracks The BLACK SKY
While writer Steve Niles deservedly gets much of the attention for the success of graphic novel 30 Days Of Night fans overlook the contribution of artist Ben Templesmith at their own peril. Because while Niles wrote the damn thing it's Templesmith who was responsible for the visuals, it was him that gave it the mood and tone and that nasty sense of dread. And now Templesmith is tackling something new.

The folks at Halo 8 - the producers of 'illustrated film' Godkiller - are back at work in the form, a style that essentially fuses the graphic novel with motion graphics for a result that's not quite full animation but plays to the same sort of crowd. And the project this time is Black Sky, a sci-fi action horror with some obvious Lovecraftian elements created by - you guessed it - Ben Templesmith.

The first teaser is freshly arrived on the scene and it is looking good. Check it below.
