Adrien Brody Wins Suit Blocking Release Of GIALLO. Too Bad They've Already Released It.
So. Good news for Adrien Brody. Back in October he filed a lawsuit against the producers of Giallo - including Dario Argento - to block the release of the film after they lied about the status of their finances and neglected to pay him. Brody, however, had a clause in his contract that allowed him to refuse the producers use of his likeness in the marketing materials and the film itself should he not be paid. So off they went to court. And now he's gone and won.

Slight problem, though. Giallo's already been released with Brody all over the cover and still in the movie itself. Which kind of makes the ruling meaningless unless it means that the film will now be pulled from shelves.
