The poorly conceived flop that was Marie Antoinette may have taken some of the bloom from Sofia Coppola's rose but the director who rose to prominence with the carefully nuanced Virgin Suicides and Lost In Translation looks to be back on more familiar ground with Somewhere.
Not only does Coppola look to be back on peak form with this one but thanks to the inspired casting of Stephen Dorff - himself a poster boy for squandered talent and missed opportunity - her leading man may very well wind up experiencing a bit of an upswing after this.
