Yes, I know Andy Muschietti's Mama has appeared online before but only in pretty small, grainy versions and while looking the man up for other reasons I just discovered that a solid, high res version has appeared online in recent days.
This is very likely my favorite horror short of the past couple years. Simple and to the point, impeccably crafted, and really, really creepy. It's so solid, in fact, that Guillermo Del Toro is producing a feature version of it with Muschietti at the helm. Check it below and pay particular attention to just how long the main shot is and the environment it moves through. Damn impressive.
