Yaji X Kita (真夜中の弥次さん喜多さん) Coming To America!

Logboy emailed me about this yesterday literally minutes before I had to head out the door and I've just spotted it confirmed in Screen Daily ... Media Blasters have bought domestic rights to trippy gay biker samurai flick Yaji X Kita and will be giving it a theatrical release throughout the US this coming summer. Rolling out in 40 theaters it certainly isn't a wide release but it is far more extensive than the two or three cities most little films like this get on these shores ...

The trailer for the film seems to have disappeared from the Japanese sites that were hosting it, so we're looking for a new source. I've got the JApanese DVD release on the way, so expect a full review soon ...
