Well, here's something you don't get to see in a typical German film, a plot that leaves you scratching your head "Who would've thought"???

The winner of this year's Bavarian Film Awards (Best Screenplay) Agnes and His Brothers is gathering some well deserved success around European cinemas. With a title that looks more like a bad translation and less like an invitation for an engaging story Agnes und seine Brüder tells the story of three brothers that are...well...being reduced to a sister and her two brothers. While the film might look like an absurd attempt in cheap sensetionalism it is indeed a mind-blowing success in originality. Hopefully an English friendly distributor will acquire the rights for it and Agnes und seine Brüder will make it to your local art-house cinema rather soon. Starring Moritz Bleibtreu (Run Lola Run) and Martin Weib.
