Cuore Sacro (Sacred Heart)

After the enormous success of La Finestra Di Fronte (Facing Windows) at the Italian David di Donatello Awards two years ago the Turkish, now living in Italy, director Ferzan Ozpetek is once again the front runner at this year's prestigious award ceremony.

His latest film Cuore Sacro (Sacred Heart) tells the story of a woman that rediscovers her passion for life and the meaning of true love. While the film lacks the dramatic overtones La Finsetra di Fronte was filled with it is nevertheless another masterpiece marked by Ozpetek's talent to engaging storytelling.
