Heavily modified battle cars blaze across the expanse of a blasted post apocalyptic wasteland, their occupants locked in a battle for survival and the most creative use of leather and decorative studs. But, no, this is not the return of Max Rockatansky or Imperator Furiosa. No, this is much stranger. This is the arrival of Mad Shelia.

A flagrant Mad Max knock off out of China, Mad Shelia is a slice of low budget insanity. It's big and bold and goofy and it seems to embrace the ludicrousness of itself to a remarkable degree. Could I watch an entire feature of this? I have no idea but the film's trailer - which comes with suitably loopy English subtitles - is a whole lot of fun. Check it out below!
