Fedor Bondarchuk's Russian scifi film Attraction is coming closer to its local theatrical release and the marketing machine is building up accordingly with a new trailer freshly on the scene. You want alien spaceships, military action and humanity fed up with yet another wave of immigration to cope with? This one's got it all! And it's got it all with English subtitles included so that you can tell I'm actually not entirely making things up with that immigration joke.

Bondarchuk is arguably the most successful commercial director in Russia, both in creative and business terms, with Timur Bekmambetov being the only one to give him a serious run for that title. This is pure populist entertainment and Bondarchuk is damn good at it, delivering what looks to be a film that could rival anything from Hollywood in terms of quality. Take a look below.
