STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Comic-Con Reel Delights
This afternoon the cast and crew of Star Wars: The Force Awakens entered the hallowed Hall H at Comic-Con with... what exactly?

We were told prior that no clips or trailers would premiere. Nor was that rumor about Colin Trevorrow directing Episode IX revealed as truth (though an answer one way or another should be forthcoming soon). What we got instead was a chance to share in the camaraderie, the friendship and the absolute enthusiasm that this cast and crew, old hands and upstarts alike, have for that galaxy far, far away.

And it all came together in a beautifully edited Behind-the-Scenes reel, which is now online for all to see.

For me, this hits all the right notes. It's a little nostalgic, appropriately mysterious, quite romantic, and certainly very magical. This frankly gets me going in a way a new trailer never would. It gives me a real, deep, hard-to-articulate sense of how much these people making Star Wars... love Star Wars. It tells me that something very special should be coming our way on December 18.

Check it out below.
