Take a look at the trailer for 3 Beauties (3 Bellezas), a film directed by Carlos Caridad Montero. The movie paints the descend into madness of a woman who has taken her obsession for beauty pageants too far. This is equal parts twisted comedy and slow burn thriller, the film debut of Montero reminiscences the work of Spanish filmmaker Alex de la Iglesia.
The film had it's premiere at The Sao Paulo International Film Festival, held last October and it's the first major release of a local film in Venezuela. Opens January, 23th.
