HELLFJORD Director Patrik Syversen Is A PARTY ANIMAL
What next for Hellfjord and You Said What? director Patrik Syversen? Well, he's got a couple projects on the boil but the one we're most excited about around these parts is upcoming horror comedy Party Animal. A piece today in Variety pitches the film like this:

A horror film with action and comedic beats, "Animal" turns on a disillusioned young man who arranges a bachelor party for his best friend at a locked-down location. But he has to fight for his life when it turns out that the groom is a werewolf.
Dead Snow and Hellfjord co-writer Stige Frode Henriksen with Jacob Jarek (whose credits include Only God Forgives), Thor Sigurjonsson and Fredrik Pryser set to produce the pan-Scandinavian co-production, the producers being Danish, Icelandic and Norwegian, respectively.

Syversen has been a great favorite in these parts going all the way back to his short film Utkant and first feature Rovdyr (Manhunt) and his ability to balance out horror, action, comedy and character should bode very well here.

Yes, the keen eyed amongst you will surmise from the Variety article that I have a personal connection to this one - moreso than the article actually lets on - and having read the script and knowing what Syversen has planned for it I am very confident that this will prove to be a good one.
