A Surprisingly Weepy First Trailer For Dante Lam's UNBEATABLE (MMA)

Would you care for a dose of melodrama to go with that punch in the face? Because that's what Hong Kong action auteur Dante Lam is serving up in the first trailer for his Nick Cheung and Eddie Peng starring effort Unbeatable, formerly known as MMA.

FAI (Nick CHEUNG), once a world champion in boxing, escapes to Macau from the loan sharks and unexpectedly encounters QI (Eddie PANG), a young chap who is determined to win a boxing match. FAI becomes QI's mentor and rediscovers his passion to fight not only in the ring but for his life and the cares.

Unbeatable is one of two Dante Lam films nearing release - That Demon Within being the other - and it lands the first punch in the trailer race with the release of its first offering. Check it below.
