Guy Ritchie Taking Over THE MAN FROM UNCLE
Steven Soderbergh out, Guy Ritchie in. That seems to be the way of things with the big screen adaptation of The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
Deadline is reporting that Warner Brothers is striking a deal with Guy Ritchie and his business partner Lionel Wigram to take over the project with the plan being for Ritchie to direct.
Now, Ritchie already had a fairly full slate and Warner Brothers has been aiming to shoot this in 2012 so, obviously, some things are going to have to shuffle but Ritchie seems like a good fit for the material and we should be looking at delays rather than cancellations of his other projects.
