Arrow Video's 2012 Slate Includes DEMONS 1 & 2 Blu-rays And More!

Just as Arrow Video has pushed a couple of titles back to January, they're making up for it by announcing initial details on their 2012 releases.  The first new titles that caught my eye were the long awaited Blu-ray editions of Lamberto Bava's Demons and Demons 2!  Initially these were slated to be DVD only releases, but Arrow Video had been delaying them in the hopes that they could find suitable materials to transfer to Blu-ray, and they have found them. This is fantastic news!  Probably the finest heavy metal horror film ever made will be on Blu-ray and DVD next year!

That's not the only news from Arrow Video this week though.  Also available on Blu-ray for the first time in the UK will be Dolph Lundgren's Red Scorpion and Lucio Fulci's The House By The Cemetery.  Coming to DVD from Arrow Video is cult monster classic, The Deadly Spawn.  Arrow Video's budget line, Arrowdrome will also be releasing scaled down DVDs of Cat 'O Nine Tails and blaxploitation classic, Penitentiary.

I haven't gotten any further details regarding specs or release dates, but as I get them, I will pass them along, for now, enjoy the cover art for these great films!
