Soi Cheang gets fast & furious in the MOTORWAY trailer!
Soi Cheang's previous collaboration with producer Johnnie To, ACCIDENT, is a big favourite around these parts and by the looks of the trailer to his new film, MOTORWAY, he's sticking to the same style.
Starring a host of familiar faces, including Shawn Yue, Anthony Wong, Guo Xiaodong, Gordon Lam, Barbie Hsu, Josie Ho, Michelle Ye, Li Haitau and LiGuangjie, with action direction from Chin Ka Lok, MOTORWAY is an old school pedal to the metal racing thriller that features some audacious sequences through the very heart of Hong Kong's Central district.
There's no word yet on when the film will be released, but we'll be keeping a very close eye on this one.
Synopsis:
Sean is an overconfident rookie in the Stealth Riders, a secret police unit consisting of the best drivers in the force that targets underworld racing and fugitives on the run. Jensen is a legendary getaway driver, who's never been caught before his retirement 15 years ago. When Sean chances upon Jensen one day, he thinks his day has finally come.
