HK Filmart: Soi Cheang Revs Up MOTORWAY
While I'm told there are still a few pickup shots to be completed the Johnnie To produced, Soi Cheang directed action flick Motorway is now deep in post production and the first promo is on display at the HK Filmart.

Shawn Yue and Anthony Wong star in the film about a rookie police pursuit driver chasing down a legendary getaway driver through the streets of Hong Kong. And here's the thing: The car chase sequences were shot guerrilla style, without permits or road closures, throughout the public streets of Hong Kong late at night. They simply strapped the camera on and away they went at high speed with a talented team of stunt drivers. And the results look amazing.

The Cheang-To combination paid off very well indeed with Accident and I expect more of the same high quality here.
