Sion Sono Is GUILTY OF ROMANCE

What next for Japan's hard edged auteur, Sion Sono? No, it's not the long awaited Norwegian black metal film Lords Of Chaos, which is still piecing together financing. Hard on the heels of the international success of his true life serial killer film Cold Fish Sono is returning to troubling crime territory with Guilty of Romance. According to The Hollywood Reporter "the Guilty story begins on a night that a woman's body, cut in half and otherwise violated and attached to a mannequin, is found in an abandoned building."

Though the film is already in production the cast has not been announced. Word is that due to extreme sexual content they have cast a relatively unknown actress in the lead.
