Dispatches from the WTF File: KUTTI PISASU
So a former colleague of ours here at ScreenAnarchy happened to send in a little piece of video he found amusing, and I must say, I think he understated the "wow" factor of this particular piece.

The trailer in question comes from a Tamil language children's film called Kutti Pisasu, and it is nuts.  This is of interest for a couple of reasons.  Most Indian films are certified for a universal audience with a "U" rating, once in a great while, a film will get an "A" rating, meaning it is for adults.  This "A" rating is very rare and severely limits distribution and greatly hinders the box office potential of any film.  Even though most are universal, the vast majority of rupees spent on children's entertainment are spent on Hollywood features, your Ice Ages, your Pixars, etc...  Native Indian children's productions generally don't make much money, so they are somewhat few and far between.  Kutti Pisasu is an attempt of breaking that unlucky streak.  I looked it up, read reviews, looked at synopses, and still was unable to get a firm grasp on what the film was really about.  I think the trailer says a million things without really explaining anything.  As such, I will continue this post in the form of meta keywords, as I feel that is the best way to get your attention:

flying robot car, witchy children, invisible cowboy superhero, transformers, harry potter ripoff, kollywood dance numbers, lava person, elephant vs. rhino, wire-fu

Kutti Pisasu released earlier this year and has yet to appear on home video, as far as I can tell, though it appears you can watch the whole thing on Youtube, if you are so inclined.
