Alex de Campi, Alan Capriles, Lance Kaplan, Alan Piglowski and Nicolas Tourrel: My hat is off to you, sirs and ma'am.While we normally focus in on the directors above all else - that'd be de Campi, in this case - the absolutely fantastic new video for UK act Gyratory System's track Yowser, Yowser, Yowser is very clearly a team effort involving a collection of very talented individuals.
My first impression: Good god, they only spent how much making this? I'm not going to tell you what the answer to that is because I'd rather you pay attention to the short itself rather than the dollar signs, but it's WAY less than you're going to think.
My second impression: Good god, this plays like some sort of crazy, pop-culture heavy Shinya Tsukamoto film.
That second impression came before I realized that the lead actor was playing a character called Tetsuo. Apparently it was on purpose.
But I digress. This is fantastic. It's got giant robots. Watch it now.
