HIFF's K-Fest 2007 Aug 24-26

In what is quickly becoming a welcomed attraction during the Summer, the Louis Vuitton Hawaii International Film Festival will be kicking off it's 3rd Annual "K-Fest" later this month (Aug. 24-26) in Honolulu, HI. A number of noteworthy and interesting films will be showcased during the mini-festival including Je-gyun Youn's "Miracle on 1st Street", Tae-gyoon Kim's "A Millionaire's First Love" and Jeong-u Kim's "The Perfect Couple" among others. A complete schedule of all the films showing is listed here. Local Korean TV Station KBFD is sponsoring this event.

This is a great opportunity for guys like me to catch up on some of the newer Korean films that have come out as it is very rare that I am able to see these outside of on DVD.

This is definitely a great precursor to HIFF's Fall Festival (October/November) which I hope will be as good as if not better than previous years.
