Trailer for Unholy Night, Icelandic horror short.

Not to sound like a broken record bu the Icelandic movie scene is pretty monotonous in terms of genres. There have only been three films made that could be placed in the horror category, "The House" and two made for TV films "Ghost Story" and "Tilburi" all made in the 80's.
This will hopefully change when the short film "Orstutt Jol "aka "Unholy Night" will be released and the appetite for home grown horror films will rise with the local audiences.
The film is based on our old legends of the Yule Men, our Santa Clauses that come to town every year during Christmas. These days they are carbon copies of the American Santa but in the old days they were blood thirsty cannibals used to scare children in to behaving themselves.
The film, a short version of a feature script that me and my friend Otto Geir Borg, writer of Astropia/Dorks and Damsels wrote and are working on financing. This self contained short will be a great help to get us going. The story is about a group of people in a rehab center trapped by the elements and the Yule Men and have to defend themselves from their gruesome attacks.
The trailer has been cut and has gotten great response over here, mainly because it's something that everybody knows but haven't seen on film before. Unfortunately the trailer is unsubbed but hopefully we will remedy that soon.
The later part of the soundtrack is also temp. Enjoy.
