J-sploitation: Kahori Asakura & Ayumu Tokitô! Kyôko Fujikawa, Miki Satô, & Yôko Satomi!

Daisuke Yamanouchi's Sisters of Blood (Senketsu no kizuna: kichiku reipuhan o shinkan saseta shimai) was released on DVD (ADE-0564; NTSC, region 2, no subtitles) in Japan on September 23rd. Yamanouchi's Kyoko vs. Yuki (Saikyô joshikôsê densetsu: Kyôko vs Yuki ["joshikôsê" = joshikôsei]) is scheduled to be released on DVD (ADE-0569; NTSC, region 2, no subtitles) in Japan on October 21st. The distributor of both of the DVD releases is Ace Deuce Entertainment K.K. (K.K. Êsu Dyûsu Entateinmento).
Sisters of Blood was originally released on VHS (F158JF-175; NTSC, no subtitles) in Japan by JVD K.K. (K.K. Jei Bui Dî) - a.k.a. "Japan Video Distribution" - on May 5, 2000. Kyoko vs. Yuki was originally released on VHS (F158JF-173; NTSC, no subtitles) in Japan by JVD on March 3, 2000.
The screenplay for Sisters of Blood was written by Yamanouchi. The movie's principal cast was as follows: Kahori Asakura, Ayumu Tokitô (she was also in Ryûichi Honda's Peau de mon épouse (Dappi waifu) - a.k.a. "My Wife's Shell"), Eisuke Tônô, Tomomaru Murai (given name may be "Toshimaru", etc.), Salmon Sakeyama (Sâmon Sakeyama; he's in Takashi Miike's The Great Yokai War (Yôkai daisensô)), and Naoshi Matsuzawa (given name may be "Tadashi", etc.).
The screenplay for Kyoko vs. Yuki was written by Yamanouchi. The movie's principal cast was as follows: Kyôko Fujikawa, Miki Satô, Kajitsu Miura, Natsumi Harada, Hiroshi Kitasenju, Salmon Sakeyama (see above), and Yôko Satomi (1st listing; she was also in Hiroyuki Kawasaki's Shichinin no kunoichi: oniyasha, Kei Nakata's Muhito: The Matchless Man (Muhito), and Mamoru Watanabe's Tokyo Desire (Katame dake no koi) - one of the four movies in Euro Space's Eros Bancho Series (Erosu banchô shirîzu)).
Yamanouchi's other directing credits include Red Room (Akai misshitsu (heya): kindan no ôsama gêmu), Mu Zan E (Muzan-e: AV gyaru satsujin bideo wa sonzai shita!), Girl Hell 1999 (Shôjo jigoku ichi kyû kyû kyû), Dead A Go! Go! (Deddo a gô! gô!), Red Room 2 (Shin akai misshitsu (heya): kowareta ningyô-tachi), Zetsurin gifu: shonanoka no wafuku niizuma (viewer discretion is advised), Mofuku furin: kuro-tabi fujin (viewer discretion is advised), Epuron ryôbo: karamitsuku chitai (viewer discretion is advised), and at least three recent entries in the 'family drama' AV series Boshisôkan yûgi.
Unearthed Films officially announced back in March that it will be releasing Red Room, Red Room 2, and Sisters of Blood on DVD in the U.S. some time in the future.
