Edgar Wright, director of Spaced and Shaun of the Dead, gave me a 'man hug' once so it only seems fair that I keep the rest of you up to speed on his current happenings and whereabouts.

First, Empire posted his thoughts and feelings about Revenge of the Sith after a screening in LA. Given that he is somewhat considered an minor authority on Star Wars fandom and geekdom you should pay heed to his words in what is a quick but glowing review. He accentuates the positive aspects of the film [action, many deaths, blah blah blah] and does not delve so much on the negative [dialogue].

Second, we have first hand information from the man himself that there will be a Shaun of the Dead special edition DVD coming out in the next year. Though he did not share specifics with us we are excited about this news. I found the extras on my R2 particularly wanting.

Finally, Edgar also shared with us that while he and Simon Pegg were in Toronto filming their cameo bits for Romero's Land of the Dead they captured their zombie experience on camera. There is a good chance that we may see this as part of the extra material on the Land of the Dead DVD or in another forum.
