INTERCHANGE: The Colors And Feathers Dazzle In First Trailer For Dain Said's Supernatural Noir
It was only the beginning of the month that we shared some stills from Dain Said's upcoming supernatural noir Interchange. Lo and behold the film is at the market in Cannes and we have a teaser trailer to share with you.
Forensics photographer Adam is weary of his daily routine of viewing mutilated bodies through his camera. Fearing that he may be a hazard to others due to a recent hallucinatory condition, Adam locks himself in his apartment, finding solace in photographing his neighbours.
A series of macabre ritual murders occur in the city and Adam is dragged into just one more investigation by his best friend and hard-nosed cop, Detective Man.
Away from the grisly murder trail at work, Adam befriends a mysterious woman, Iva, with problems of her own. Coming to her rescue, he begins to feel alive again. Iva however is not who she seems, as Adam finds himself dragged deeper into the tangled web of murders, unable to claw his way out.
There is no doubt that it is a very pretty and intriguing trailer. There is lots of great looking stuff in there and great use of color and light. Any good supernatural noir has to have a rooftop fight in the rain. We are looking forward to this.
Interchange is being sold at the market by Paris outfit Reel Suspects and XYZ Films is handling North American sales. Which leads us to the part where we remind you that ScreenAnarchy founder and editor Todd Brown is a partner at XYZ Films.
Expect to see this dazzling tale of intrigue and mystical creatures on the festival circuit soon.
