Well now, here's a creative union that appears to be bearing gorgeously bizarre fruit: Indie filmmaker Eddie Alcazar - who we've been tracking in these pages for years - has teamed up with maverick musician Flying Lotus to create Fuckkkyouuu, a new visual experiment that exists somewhere in the nether regions between short film and music video. Soon to premiere as part of the Sundance Next festival, the first images for this one have turned up online and, damn, I can't wait to see these in motion. Take a look at the gallery below.

With the ability to travel in time, a lonely girl finds love and comfort by connecting with her past self. Eventually faced with rejection she struggles with her identity and gender, and as time folds onto itself only one of them can remain.

Is this the same Eddie Alcazar who left me with blue-balls over the "0000" movie?

"0000" omg right. I discovered that film on this sight 8 billion years ago. Still have acid flashback dreams about it. Whatever happened to it?

Last I checked the official site had a counter at the top running down from 35 years. I reckon maybe he's trying to get completion funding, or maybe he's pulling as Linklater and letting characters age naturally.

It's not dead yet. I don't think I can say more than that, but it's not dead.
