Witness The Awesome Urinary Powers Of ANTBOY In First Trailer

Ants. They're strong. They crawl. And apparently their urine is acid. Such are the powers granted to young Pelle in upcoming Danish kids' superhero flick Antboy.

12-year-old Pelle accidentally gets bitten by an ant and develops unimaginable superpowers. With help from his friend, comic book nerd Wilhelm, Pelle creates a secret identity as the superhero Antboy. Slowly things start to happen in the surburban community, and when a scary and crazy supervillain, Flea, enters the scene, Antboy must step up to the challenge.

Nicolas Bro plays the villainous Flea with Oscar Dietz in the hero role. The first trailer for this one has just arrived and looks like rather a lot of fun. Check out the trailer below and our thanks to ScreenAnarchy reader Johnny Vinther for offering the following translation of the dialogue:

"You're going to need a costume."
"Look!" "Hello?" "Hi, honey, it's mom." "I can't really talk right now, mom."
"My name is The Flea. And like the insect I'm impossible to get rid off."
Isn't it also your job to save her?" "Me?" "Yeah, isn't that what superheroes do?"
"I want to come!" "But it's much too dangerous.."
"Girls ruin everything!"
"Piss-ant!"
"Who are you?" " I am... ANTBOY!"
