Cool Cats Don't Look At Explosions in Roadgeek's TOWARDS THE SUN
Aussie composer, musician, producer, director, writer and VFX wiz Michael Shanks has unveiled the latest music video for his band Roadgeek, for which he sings and plays all the instruments, natch -- like Dave Grohl on that first great Foo Fighters album.

Shanks, who uploads self-produced and continuously awesome videos under his YouTube channel Timtimfed (which causes half of Reddit to think his name is Tim) has been actively doing awesome stuff since he created the long-running Doomsday Arcade webseries for The Escapist.

I became aware of Shanks' when his first Roadgeek music video On the Borderline jointly won the best music video prize with David Michôd's clip for Children Collide's Loveless at St Kilda Film Festival's SoundKilda competition last year. Shanks also won best independent music video.

Last night at the 2013 SoundKilda event Shanks backed up his win, by once again taking out best independent music video for another Roadgeek clip, Towards the Sun. SoundKilda marked the world premiere for the clip and since then Shanks has put it online in all it's bloody feline insanity for the rest of the world to enjoy. I could describe what happens in the video, but best you experience the mayhem all for yourself. Check it out below!
