Hey NYC! Wanna See THE EXPENDABLES 2 for Free?
The one movie this summer that dares -- DARES -- to be macho with a straight face, while also somehow giving you a knowing wink-wink, The Expendables 2 promises to do everything bigger and better than its predecessor, and boy if the cast isn't proof that they're gonna try, try, try to please the action fans. So, action fans of the New York Metropolitan area, care to see Sly Stallone's action-man opus redux for free? Why of course you do.

Twitch has two run-of-engagement passes that are good for two tickets at participating NYC theaters. All ya gotta do to win is email me here by next Friday, August 17th (Which is, in fact the film's release date) (how timely) under the subject line "EX2 Tix. And Then! In the body of the email please leave your name and tell me why you think Dolph Lundgren and Terry Crewes should or shouldn't have their own spin-off movie as Gunner Jensen and Hale Caesar, respectively. Because really, who are we kidding, they were the fan favorites of the first flick, right? And now, because you might want to know something about this movie other than the massive amount of testosterone it has on display, the official plot synopsis!

Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), Toll Road (Randy Couture) and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) -- with newest members Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth) and Maggie (Yu Nan) aboard -- are reunited when Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) enlists the Expendables to take on a seemingly simple job.  The task looks like an easy paycheck for Barney and his band of old-school mercenaries.   But when things go wrong and one of their own is viciously killed, the Expendables are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory where the odds are stacked against them.  Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time -- five tons of weapons-grade plutonium, far more than enough to change the balance of power in the world.  But that's nothing compared to the justice they serve against the villainous adversary who savagely murdered their brother.

That is done theExpendables way....
