Hulu Co-Producing Fourth Season Of Armando Iannucci's THE THICK OF IT
One of the greatest things ever to appear on television is about to return to television. And we've got Hulu, at least in part, to thank.

Armando Iannucci's The Thick Of It is, without doubt, on of the sharpest, nastiest, and laugh out loud funniest pieces of political satire ever created. Over the course of three seasons and a few specials it jabbed British politics in the eye with a sharp stick to great effect before going on to spin off the UK / USA political collision In The Loop.

Iannucci is doing his thing on US shores with Veep now but while cleverly written his HBO effort lacks the bite of his UK work, which makes it all the more exciting that The Thick Of It is coming back. Yes, kids, there will be more Malcolm Tucker.

A fourth season of The Thick Of It is gearing up now and, surprisingly, it is a co-production of the BBC and US web service Hulu. The new series will be available simultaneously on the BBC and Hulu before appearing on BBC America a wee bit later.

For an example of why this matters check the reel of Peter Capaldi's better moments as Malcolm Tucker in In The Loop below. Be warned: The man has a mouth on him, not recommended for workplace viewing.
