Between obsessing about The Raid and rewatching early seasons of Treme, it suddenly dawned on me this morning how beautifully melodic Silat sensation Iko Uwais' name is:

At any rate, intrepid ScreenAnarchist Al Young brought this link to my attention - it's almost eerie to see the guy outside in daylight after the claustrophobic awesomesauce of The Raid, which is made all the more weird since I sat at a brunch table with the guy during the TIFF Midnight Madness awards ceremony.

I'll say one thing, the ad below makes me even thirstier for the next films to come out of the mind of Gareth Evans and the flying fists (and elbows, and knees) of this newest giant of action cinema.
