Bollywood Does Boney M For AGENT VINOD's "I'll Do The Talking"

This is the rare case in which I will post a promotional song from an Indian film because I believe it gives us a better look at the film.  The film in question is Saif Ali Khan's upcoming big-budget spy film, Agent Vinod, directed by Sriram Raghavan. The original teaser looks okay, but there are a lot of quick cuts that don't give you a very good feel for the flavor of the film.  This song gives us a little better look and a lot of new footage.

One interesting tidbit about I'll do the Talking is that it is an obvious riff on Boney M's classic Rasputin.  The song has recently undergone a popularity resurgence due to its inclusion on the Nintendo Wii game Just Dance.  Indian composers ripping off songs from other areas of the world is nothing new, but in this age of interconnectedness, T-Series, who released the music, have put this caveat on the youtube page for the song:

"Though the rights of Rasputin of Boney M have officially been acquired, this song is loosely based on a Serbian Folk Song, co-incidentally the famous bengali poet Kazi Nazrul Islam's song Shookno Patar Nupur Nupur Paye which is very popular in Bengal is also based on this song."

Bollywood seems to be more aware that the world is watching.
