It is the franchise that will not die and the latest installment has just unleashed its first official trailer.

Husband and wife duo of director Paul W. S. Anderson and Milla Jovovich has been a money making machine for Sony with their Resident Evil films, the action-horror pictures proving remarkably resilient despite being generally disliked by critics and fans of the game series who complain about variations from the core story.

And speaking of which ... can someone who actually plays the game tell me if it includes dragons? Because this trailer does and I'm simply not sure how those fit into a zombie apocalypse.

The Who are my favorite band. I might have to reconsider after this atrocity.

Who the hell keeps watching this crap?

Yes...there were "dragon like" things in the game...mutated animals and humans, the result of the Tvirus and Umbrella experiments.

This is comparable to a bad staff infection that won't just go away. If any franchise needed a reboot, this is it. Resident Evil: Degeneration gave me little hope that all isn't lost.
