This Is Going To Be Bloody! A Teaser For Animated Danish Action Comedy JENSEN & JENSEN! (Updated w. English Subs.)

What's this? Another Danish animated cult comedy?  You bet, and when they keep coming out looking like this it's very definitely a case of 'the more, the merrier'.

It was just yesterday that we initially posted the first proper trailer for Ronal The Barbarian and now we follow that with Craig Frank's Jensen & Jensen. And, not surprisingly given the scope of Denmark's animation industry, the two projects have something of a shared history. It goes like this. In 2008 Craig Frank and Thorbjorn Christoffersen shared directing duties on cult hit Journey To Saturn. And now, in 2011, Christoffersen is hard at work on Ronal while Frank helms Jensen & Jensen with the local releases separated by just a month. Here's the synopsis for Frank's film:

Copenhagen 2019, the financial crisis has taken a turn for the worst. Romanians have out bid all construction, Hell's Angels have taken over Police duties and the government is run by the Bank of Denmark. Unemployment, inflation and crime have gone sky high creating the birth of the Bounty Hunter.

Under such dire straits are Bjarne and Jimmy, brothers with their own life threatening financial debt. They are forced to hunt Europe's most dangerous criminal Milo who has devious plans to control world currency destroying Denmark in its process. However, Bjarne and Jimmy are neither smart, strong nor courageous; they are amateur Bounty Hunters up against psycho-cops, torture thirsty CIA agents, weapon wielding Vatican Cardinals and a horny goat.

In the midst of their hunt they discover an event from their past that is more horrifying than anything they ever encountered.
