Coming From The Producers Of THE HOST 2: SciFi Thriller ROBOTROPOLIS
Formerly a writer for Star Trek: The Next Generation, writer-director Christopher Hatton is currently in post production on Robotropolis. An effects-heavy scifi thriller, Hatton shot his film in Singapore with Kelvin Tong's Boku Films producing and while those around ScreenAnarchy are already well familiar with Tong and his work - check him out in the search engine if you're not placing it, we've covered loads of his work - the rest of the world very soon will be as the next film on the Boku slate is The Host 2 - the sequel to Bong Joon-Ho's monstrous hit creature feature.
A group of reporters are covering the unveiling of a new facility that is completely maintained by robot prototypes. When one of the robots goes haywire, the reporters find themselves not just reporting on the malfunction, but fighting for their lives.
Though this is clearly a much smaller film than the new Host will be, we've just been passed an exclusive first still and the quality looks quite good. Check the still below and expect a trailer soon.
