Watch Shinya Tsukamoto's Collaboration With Japanese Pop Singer Cocco.
Apparently Japanese pop singer Cocco has rather good taste in film. Back in 2008 she hired Kore-Eda to direct a complete concert video for her and now, for the release of her seventh album, she has hired a series of high profile directors to film a series of 'Cocco inspired' shorts. And among the directors involved are Tetsuo: The Iron Man helmer Shinya Tsukamoto.
It's a quieter, calmer Tsukamoto here - the film essentially a handheld camera following Cocco along a beach as she sings acapella - but it's still clearly him, the blue filter he favored in A Snake Of June in full effect once again. Watch it below.
