After being presented as a work in progress in Sitges, where it scared the hell out of people, Spanish / Mexican found footage horror film Atrocious will soon be introduced to the rest of the world in competition at Slamdance.
Purportedly assembled from 37 hours of video footage discovered by police after a young family was discovered killed in their summer home, Atrocious is all about the slow build to its inevitable conclusion and it plays its game very well indeed.
