CHRYSALIS Director Julien Leclerq Tackles Real Life Terrorism In L'ASSAULT

On Christmas Eve 1994 four armed men from the Islamic terrorist group GIA hijacked Air France Flight 8969 in Algiers. When they landed in Marseille the plane was raided by highly trained French forces and all four kidnappers killed.

This very real story forms the basis of L'Assaut,the sophomore feature from Chrysalis director Julien Leclerq. Leclerq proved he had visual and action chops to spare with his debut feature so the big question will be how he can handle such a sensitive, real life issue.
