Does Tsui Hark want to shoot New Dragon Inn remake in 3D?

Apparently so. The director was seen trying on 3D glasses and trying out 3D cameras at Hong Kong Filmart this year. When asked about his next projects he admitted that he is planning to shoot his New Dragon Inn film in 3D. 

At least he would appear to be going about it the right way and checking out the technology first rather than applying it after he has already lensed a film. Shooting for New Dragon Inn isn't scheduled until sometime in 2011, giving him plenty of time to study the technology and understand it before applying it.
