Zombie Action On The Cheap In Ireland's THE KNACKERY
Let's get this out of the way right at the beginning. George Clarke makes cheap movies. They're so cheap that you can't even truthfully refer to them as being low budget, the money spent on a typical low budget movie being enough to pay for twenty or thirty typical Clarke movies. As a result, yes: Clarke's movies look cheap. They are also, however, blessed with a certain manic energy that makes them pretty damn entertaining to watch. Entertaining enough that his latest feature - The Knackery - is about to receive a limited theatrical run in Northern Ireland despite it's hundred quid production budget.
