First Trailer For German Thriller THE DOOR With Mads Mikkelsen

German director Anno Saul is one we've been tracking here at ScreenAnarchy since he hooked with with producer Fatih Akin for kung fu themed comedy The Kebab Connection and in recent days the project we've been awaiting for him is upcoming thriller The Door.  Danish star Mads Mikkelsen stars in this story of a man disintegrating after the death of his young daughter and those I know who have seen it say it is absolutely spectacular.  Here's the synopsis:

The film centers on the formerly successful painter David who has lost control over his life after being responsible for the death of his seven-year-old daughter Leonie through a fatal decision. One day, seven years later, he discovers a door which will give him the opportunity to start all over again. However, what initially appears to be a wonderful chance for a new beginning, soon turns out to be a veritable horror scenario, since not everything in the past is quite as it seems....
