Is Aaron Kwok A MURDERER?

Hong Kong singer and actor Aaron Kwok has charted an interesting course for himself. With a string of hugely popular albums to his name and a fistful of acting awards he is one of the most respected artists in both of his chosen fields and - if he so desired - he could easily be another Andy Lau, a simply huge celebrity. But Kwok doesn't seem to have much interest in the celebrity lifestyle and rather than maximizing his exposure to maximize profits he seems much more inclined to work at his own pace and choose projects based on legitimate interest rather than business concerns. Whish is probably a good part of why he seldom appears in bad films.

And it looks like he's got another solid one coming. Over the past few days i've received a handful of emails from friends and connections in Hong Kong, all of them telling me the same thing: keep an eye out for Kwok-starring police thriller Murderer. In it Kwok stars as a police detective suffering from memory lapses who - in the course of investigating a murder - realizes that he himself is the prime suspect. It's territory fairly similar to what Kiyoshi Kurosawa covered with Retribution but this looks to have its own personality entirely.
