More Cowboy! More Indian! More Horse! It's The Theatrical Trailer For PANIQUE AU VILLAGE!

Cult Belgian animation Panique Au Village - known in English as A Town Called Panic - is, in my book, officially one of the Best Things Ever. It is ridiculous and primitive and juvenile and absurd and absolutely hysterically funny. It is also making the leap from the small screen to the big with the feature film version about to premiere in the midnight program at Cannes this year. Trying to really define Panique is well-nigh impossible but here's how I attempted to do it last time I wrote about the upcoming film:

What is it? Well, first take those plastic Cowboy and Indian toys you played with as a child. Second, assume that Cowboy and Indian are stupid and emotionally about six years old. Third, put them in a brightly colored house, where they live with their friend, Horse - by comparison the intelligent one of the trio. Then leave them to run wild. Trying to explain Panique beyond that is a chump's game and I'm not even going to try - this is something you have to experience.

We ran a lengthy clip - a complete sequence from the film - a little while back and now that has been joined by the French theatrical trailer. You'll find both below the break. Giddyup!
