Images From Studio 4C's Animator Tatsuyuki Tanaka's FIFTH DIMENSION!

Many thanks to Tsuka for filling in some details on this. The project turns out to be a manga drawn by Tanaka seperate from his work with 4C and without the intention of adapting it into a film. But I kind of wish he would. And I leave this up because it's fantastic stuff.

Well, here's a blast from the past to clear that up for you: a series of treatment images from Tatsuyuki Tanaka's short Fifth Dimension - in which a dentist shifts his patient's head into the fifth dimension to treat a toothache - have been put online over at Pink Tentacle. This is stunning stuff - brilliantly drawn, energetic and totally original. Anybody know if this was ever actually made and released anywhere?
